ELENE New York Founder and Creative Director, Elene Henning, grew up designing clothing since she was a child. Elene always knew she would end up in the fashion industry. What she did not know was as she was exposed to working in the most vital interaction of the fashion industry of all, product development, she had first hand exposure to the large amount of waste and unsustainable practices the mass of the fashion industry creates. That is when ELENE New York was born. To fight again fast fashion, microplastics, ill fitting garments, unconscious fabric selections, and ultimately the large amounts of waste in our landfills. 

At Elene New York, we are on a mission to consciously produce quality pieces by utilizing slow fashion practices and producing all of our products ethically. We practice circular fashion by sourcing materials that would otherwise end up in our landfills and repurposing them into beautiful garments that will last for generations to come.
